Compilation guru Yasushi Ide, the leader of Grand Gallery, has started a new compilation series dedicated solely to vinyl records!Ide's compilation CD work started with Martin Denny in the 1980s. He has worked on numerous major hits, including Janet Kay/Best of JK and TOKYO LUXURY LOUNGE.This LP is not just a mere recordings of old works, but a brand-new work selected by Ide himself from Grand Gallery's huge catalog based on a new concept, with the intention of making it available on vinyl LP.The series is called 'FUTURE CLASSICS'. The first volume is a reggae cover album by Japanese artists, focusing on sweet lovers' rock. It is a genre-less selection of classic songs from Japan and abroad.The album contains 10 songs, many of which have never been released as Vinyl before!Also included are two exclusive remixes for this album!Watusi, a member of Ito Seiko's ITP, remixed Sixteen Reasons by Hitomitoi for this title!Also, 'Ikareta BABY' (This is a song by Fishmans, covered by monolog + Ai Ichikawa and released 7 inch before and sold out instantly) have remixed the song by monolog themselves!
